Sculpting an exhibition pavilion in a natural place was the primary challenge of PRIMEAU VELO, a project unusual in commercial architecture. Developed and executed in close dialogue with the client, the mandate was global: site layout and landscaping design, architecture, interior design, and design of furniture/display systems. Having been grafted onto a major cycle path, the design offers via its transparent surfaces multiple visual links between surrounding natural spaces and the exhibition and administration spaces within.

The structuring and materiality of the presentation spaces is both open and hushed. In the showroom the customer experience is sovereign, with all elements converging to facilitate a demonstration of product quality, and in-house workshops offering mechanical and other personalization of bicycles on-site. The credo of the company: 200 bikes presented, 2000 bikes immediately available on site, and an exceptional offer enhanced via the website/shipped pan Canada.
